Come and celebrate St Patrick’s Day with the Cayman Islands Kids Gaelic Football Club on Saturday 16th March, from 11am to 12.30pm. This Cayman- Irish celebration promises an action packed 90 minutes of Gaelic Football and much more….! Activities will include:

  • Gaelic Football Blitz
  • Ice Cream Van
  • Face Painting
  • Tug Of War
  • Welly Throwing
  • Kick Fada / Poc Fada
  • (Translation – how far can you kick the gaelic football, or hit the sliotar (ball) with a hurling stick!)

This event is open to all children aged between 6 and 14, of all abilities, with a special warm welcome to any beginners wanting to try the game or join in the fun! As it is St Patrick’s Day on Sunday March 17th, there is no better weekend for the kids to come out and revel by learning some Gaelic football, with fun for all the ages (adults too)!

The festivities will then continue with the senior Gaelic Football Club hosting ladies and men’s football games, a hurling exhibition, adults Poc Fada, Welly Throwing and Tug of War! All are welcome to join in or spectate – raid your dressing up boxes and get your green on!

Join us from 11am to 12.30pm, Saturday 16th March at the football pitch at Cayman International School, Camana Bay, with the senior club celebration to follow from 1pm.

Everything is free of charge (with thanks to our Sponsors!) and a free Kids Club jersey for all newcomers!
