A juvenile, aged 17 of George Town, was arrested Monday, 27 November, and charged today, 29 November, with Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm (Ammunition). This is in relation to a robbery which took place at a gas station on Walkers Road on Sunday, 19 November (see below press release). He is expected to appear in court today (29).

Armed Robbery – Walkers Road Gas Station

On Sunday, 19^th November 2017 just after 3:00 am, 911 received a report of a robbery that occurred at the Walkers Road Esso gas station. Two male suspects entered the Station, and one of the suspects brandished what appeared to be a firearm. Cash drawers were stolen, but it is undetermined at this time what were in the cash drawers. Apparently, no shots were fired, and no one was physically injured. A further update will follow.
