Cayman Islands CTMH Doctors Hospital – Alzheimer’s Awareness Month

On Friday September 15th, 2017, CTMH Doctors Hospital staff supported The Alzheimer’s and Dementia Association of The Cayman Islands (ADACI) by participating in their fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Awareness Month. Over twenty staff members bought ADACI purple awareness T-Shirts and also wore purple to show their support in the worldwide struggle of Alzheimer’s disease. The Alzheimer’s and Dementia Association of the Cayman Islands was formed in 2012 providing awareness within the general public about various dementias with a focus on Alzheimer’s. CTMH Doctors Hospital is here to help ADACI in the education process so that people of the Cayman Islands know how to interact and properly care for people with Alzheimer’s. CTMH Doctors Hospital wishes to be another source of support for not only the people with Alzheimer’s but their family members as well.

CTMH Doctors Hospital staff encourages all the people of the Cayman Islands to consider getting involved or donating to ADACI and joining the fight against Alzheimer’s & Dementia. From our pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, front office, and HR staff; “Purple Power” was the vibe at CTMH Doctors Hospital. Help spread awareness during Alzheimer’s Awareness Month by buying shirts & wearing purple. At CTMH Doctors Hospital, our staff stands tall in supporting ADACI and offering Exceptional Care Close to Home.
