Cayman Islands-based law firm moves to Camana Bay

Solomon Harris Cayman Islands has moved to its new location in Camana Bay, a mixed-use community and financial services hub on Grand Cayman. The relocation comes as the law firm marks two decades of service in the Cayman Islands.

20 years ago, Solomon Harris was among the first tenants to open its doors in the First Caribbean International Bank (FCIB) building, which had been recently completed in George Town. As the 20th anniversary date neared, the financial services law firm took a closer look at its long-term projected growth and anticipated needs to offer continued quality and service to its clients. Solomon Harris made the decision that, as a result of the service and amenities offered at the mixed-use community, Camana Bay was the right choice as the company continues to expand.

“The move solidifies the firm’s strength and growth over the past 20 years as one of the leading independent Cayman Islands law firms.  As one of the first tenants in the FCIB  building (then Barclay’s House) I can say that we have thoroughly enjoyed 20 years at FCIB our first and only home for 20 years, but we know we will continue our strong long term relationship with our client and first landlord,” said Sophia Harris, Solomon Harris Managing Partner. “As the firm expands and moves into another decade, Camana Bay was the only choice and this will be its next version of prestigious office space in a new community among existing clients.”

“More and more leading financial services providers are choosing Camana Bay for their business address in order to cater to the needs of both clients and employees. As a client of Solomon Harris, we know firsthand that service is a priority for the law firm and we welcome the team to the Camana Bay community,” said Dart Real Estate President Jackie Doak. We congratulate Solomon Harris on 20 years of stellar service in the Cayman Islands and we look forward to its continued growth in a master-planned, amenity-rich environment.”

Solomon Harris has moved temporarily to the 2nd floor of 53 Market Street, while its new home at 18 Forum Lane in Camana Bay is being tailored to its needs over the coming months.
