The man, age 23 of West Bay, arrested on 21 August with respect to an assault during the early morning of 20 August, has been charged with two counts of Wounding With Intent and will be in court this morning.

Update: Assault Early Saturday Morning, 20th of August on West Bay Road

With respect to the assault that occurred early Saturday morning outside the Fete Club on West Bay Road, all persons who sustained injuries during the incident, including the man arrested with respect to the incident, have been treated and released from hospital.

The man arrested yesterday was taken to the hospital after his arrest for treatment. He was thereafter returned to Police Custody, where he remains.

Early Saturday morning, on 20th of August, police responded to a report of an assault in the parking lot of a West Bay Road night club. Three people had been assaulted and were taken to hospital.

This afternoon, 21 August, a man, age 23 of West Bay, was arrested in connection with the incident.
