Arson Early this Morning on Palm Dale Avenue in George Town, 12 September

Just before 3:30AM this morning, 12 September, police and fire units responded to a report of two vehicles aflame at a residence on Palm Dale Avenue in George Town. Fire units extinguished the flames and no one was injured, though both vehicles, a red 2006 Honda Stream and a green 2002 Daihatsu Terios, were extensively damaged.

During the incident a bottle of flammable liquid was also thrown through a window of the house. It did not ignite and no one was injured.

Based on circumstances at the scene the fire can be described as an act of arson. The incident is under investigation by both fire and police officers.
