From Cayman Islands Ministry of Education, Youth, Sports, Agriculture and Lands

Cayman Islands Government Application Process for Early Childhood Assistance Programme Funding

The Ministry of Education provides financial assistance through the Early Childhood Assistance Programme (ECAP) fund for young Caymanian children, who are between 3 and 4 years of age before 1 September 2018, to assist with the payment of fees at an early childhood centre between 1 September 2018 and 30 June 2019. Applications are currently being accepted for the ECAP fund.

“All Caymanian children must have access to early education to assist them in building a strong foundation for their future. I therefore urge parents and guardians to apply early and make use of the funds available,” Hon. Juliana O’Connor-Connolly, Minister for Education, Youth, Sports, Agriculture, and Lands.

Application forms and information can be downloaded from the Ministry of Education’s website:www.education.gov.ky. Forms may also be collected from the Government Administration Building, the Department of Education Services and all early childhood centres.

All completed ECAP application forms and required documentation must be directly submitted to the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Unit located on the 2nd Floor of the Government Administration Building.
