Caribbean Tourism Industry: Training survey for owners, owner/managers, senior executives and managers

By Foundation for Entrepreneurial Participation (TFEP)

(PRESS RELEASE) – Tourism destinations around the world are facing increasing competition and the Caribbean Training and Research Group (CARI-TaRG) (www.tfep.org/caritarg.html) and
MEDITERRANEO LAB have embarked on developing a range of training modules specifically aimed at the needs of the tourism industry throughout the Caribbean.

Therefore we are seeking input from the sector to gain an insight into the current level of skills and competences in order to develop the specific training needed to grow and develop businesses operating within the travel and tourism sector throughout the Caribbean

The survey will take no more than 5 minutes to complete and will directly influence our training development team, who are dedicated to producing courses that are right for the industry.

An analysis of the Survey responses will be collated and the Report produced will be made freely available.

The Survey can be found at www.tfep.org/tourism_survey.html and will close on 31st December 2017.

Dr Paul Quantock, Chairman, stated that “…It is vital that we listen and provide the courses that the tourism industry needs in order for them to compete effectively in the global marketplace…”
