A popular dating show sent two bisexual men to the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia – where gay sex carries a prison sentence of ten years.

Jordan Shannon and Jesse Drew met on Channel 5’s Blind Date on Sunday night.

Jordan, a beautician, told the Daily Star he had no idea until he was already on the way to the hotel

But anyone found performing sex acts with a member of the same sex could face up to ten years in jail.

And Jordan, a beautician, told the Daily Star he had no idea until he was already on the way to the hotel.

He said: ‘I didn’t know this until I was told on the way to the hotel. I thought: ‘What the f**k?”‘

Jesse added: ‘I was nervous. The hotel security woman told me how most gay men were in the closet there as homosexuality is illegal. It’s ten years in prison if caught.’
