ATM Update & Man Arrested in The Old Gaol Café Burglary

ATM Burglary Update

The 41-year-old man and the 27-year-old woman were both charged with burglary and damage to property in relation to the burglary at Cayman National Bank involving an ATM on 28th February 2014. Both appeared in court yesterday, Monday 3rd March 2014. The 42-year-old man was remanded in custody pending further inquiries, and the 27-year-old female was released on court bail.

Inquiries continue in to the matter.

Man arrested in The Old Gaol Café burglary

A 56-year-old man was arrested early yesterday morning for “breach of curfew” by officers from the GTPS. Following a reported burglary at the Old Gaul Café in George Town and subsequent investigation, the male has been re- arrested on suspicion of burglary by officers from GT CID. He remains in custody whilst the investigation continues, but it is anticipated that he may appear before the courts later today.
