A Royal Cayman Islands Police Service RCIPS) spokesperson has confirmed that Cayman Brac experienced its seventh burglary there since the beginning of the year.

This time it was at the Brac Reef Resort in West End, close to Reef Divers Resort, West End Point Outlook, and Rebecca’s Cave. On Saturday 6^th April thieves (or thief) broke a front door lock to gain entry into the cashier section where a safe was forced open.

RCIPS officers were alerted to the break-in at approx. 4:30am.

There has been a significant increase this year on burglaries on Cayman Brac.
